Huawei Mate 30 Pro reviews – Huawei’s latest flagship phone, Mate 30 Pro, is top-ranked on the list of smartphones with the best camera current version of the DxOMark Camera benchmarking site.
The Mate 30 Pro main camera records the overall value of 121 points in the DXO Mark, defeating the previous record holder, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 + 5G, which records a score of 117 points.
If detailed, a very helpful number of DxOMark Mate 30 Pro scores skyrocketed is a photo category score that reaches 131 points and a video recording score of 100 points.
This high photo score was obtained thanks to the image quality produced by the 40-megapixel phone’s main camera (f/1.6, 27mm, OIS) Super Sensing.
The main camera is able to produce an image with a very clear texture with minimal noise, even in less light conditions.
In addition, night mode capability, along with the telephoto at Mate 30 Pro, also helped the phone rally in a number of trials performed by the DxOMark website.
For its own telephoto business, Huawei relies on an 8-megapixel telephoto lens (f/2.4, 80 mm, OIS) with 3x optical zoom.
Despite the lower optical zoom capability compared to the Huawei P30 Pro which has up to 5x optical zooming capability, the Mate 30 Pro is capable of producing optimal images thanks to artificial intelligence (AI) photo processing algorithms.
In addition to these two cameras, there are also two other rear camera cameras in the Mate 30 Pro that help the phone DxOMark score quite high.
They are an ultrawide Cine 40 MP (f/1.8, 18mm) SuperSensing camera that can be used to capture super-wide range modes, and there is also one 3D ToF camera that can produce bokeh effect on better photos of P30 Pro.
In addition to the rear camera, DxOMark also recorded scores for the Mate 30 Pro front camera capability that had a 32-megapixel resolution (f/2.0).
For the front camera, Huawei Mate 30 Pro gets an average score of 93 points, as quote from GSMArena.
If detailed, DxoMark scores 97 points for front camera photo capabilities and 88 points for video capability.
As an overview, in Europe, Huawei Mate 30 with 8 GB RAM and Storage 128 GB will be priced at 799 euros, then Mate 30 Pro with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage costs 1,099 euros.
