Xiaomi will launch its newest flagship, the Mi 9 Pro 5G, in the near term. Unlike other products, this time Xiaomi publicly reveals its new mobile specifications.
Xiaomi’s official account at Weibo confirmed that Mi 9 Pro 5G is only present in the 5G network version. Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun, stated, those who want a 4G phone should consider other flagships such as Mi 9, Redmi K20 Pro, or Black Shark 2.
Mi 9 Pro 5G will come with 1,217 Super linear speakers, smart PA, and support for LHDC technology. This phone will also have 4D shock or HD vibration. It will provide a more immersive experience while gaming. Xiaomi says HD Vibration supports up to 150 different vibration modes and has a user interface that can adapt to different scenes.
The phone features an NFC feature with support for eID required if you want to use a high-speed train, board a flight, or check-in to the hotel. It will also be able to serve as your car key.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G uses a 4000mAh battery. Increased battery capacity is required because it is a 5G device so that the 3300mAh battery will not be enough. Xiaomi says, despite the large battery capacity, the weight of Mi 9 Pro 5G is not up to 196 grams.
Xiaomi also released a comparison of battery performance of Mi 9 and Mi 9 Pro 5G. The results show Mi 9 Pro 5G still has a 21% battery remaining after 7 hours of use that includes games, video and audio streaming, video recording, video calling, and car navigation.
Mi 9 Pro 5G will support 40W cable charging and 30W wireless charging, so you can charge the phone as short as possible.
