After confirming the new smartphone series named Velvet, the Korean company LG surprised the market by announcing a newer flip phone, said LG Folder 2.
LG Folder 2 is intended for users with limited budgets and prefers easy-to-use phones.
This Folder 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 210 chipset paired with 1GB RAM. The phone is equipped with 8GB of storage and comes with two screens.
The 2.8-inch QVGA main screen and 0.9-inch monochrome secondary panel to display notifications for messages and calls.
The SOS button is located on the back with a 2MP main camera and allows the user to dial a number-which has been-registered quickly by pressing it three times 1.5 seconds.
The Auto button also shares the user’s location with numbers dialed by text message.
The Hotkey button, on the other hand, is placed on the front above the call button and allows the user to call the AI Voice service or initiate the call recording function. However, the availability of these features depends on the operator.
LG Folder 2 supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G connectivity. There’s also a feature called data security keys that help prevent accidental data charges.
This flip phone has a 1.470 mAh battery and has two color options: White and Platinum.
Folder 2 is priced at KRW 198.000 and will be on sale in South Korea from April 17th.
