Xiaomi held a major product launch which is a sign of debuting its latest global ecosystem products. Alongside Mi Electric Scooters, gaming monitors, Mi TV sticks and other smart accessories, the Chinese company also announced Redmi 9A and 9C smartphones.
The smartphone is the entry level mobile phone, part of the Redmi 9 Series. Redmi 9A features a 6.53-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, with notch water droplet shape for a 5 MP front camera. While the rear camera holds a single 13 MP sensor and LED flash light.
Xiaomi equiped Redmi 9A with the MediaTek Helio G25 chipset paired with 2 GB of RAM and expandable 32 GB of storage. The battery is 5,000 mAh power and charges via Micro USB.
The phone is already running the Android 10 operating system with MIUI 12. Redmi 9A comes in three variants of color, namely grey, green and blue, for availability is still unknown. 9A is the most affordable entry in the Redmi 9 Series with an initial price of 99 euros.
While the Redmi 9C has the same screen measuring 6.53 inches, with a 5 MP front camera. Xiaomi equipped the Redmi 9C with the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset.
In terms of battery, the Redmi 9C is also equipped with 5,000 mAh power and a micro USB charging port. The software side uses MIUI 12 based on Android 10, with a choice of shades of gray, orange and blue.
Redmi 9C comes with two cameras 13 MP and 2 MP for macro shooting. For Redmi 9C will be sold for 119 Euro variant RAM 2 GB/32GB and 139 euros for RAM 3 GB/64 GB.
