The Moto G9 Play was launched as a rebranded of the Moto G9 smartphone which comes packing a 6.5-inch dewdrop-notch display powered by snapdragon 662 alongside a triple-camera and boasts a large capacity battery.
The Moto G9 Play isn’t actually a completely new smartphone, the Moto G9 Play is basically a rebranded of the Moto G9 that the company recently launched in India.
The difference is from the color selection, where the Moto G9 Play has additional exclusive Spring Pink colors in addition to the two Colors Sapphire Blue and Forest Green which are also owned by Moto G9.
The Moto G9 Play launched in the European market and is ready for sale with a price tag of €169.
Moto G9 Play Specs
Because it is a renamed smartphone, the specifications of the Moto G9 Play are not much different from the Moto G9. Where this Moto G9 Play comes is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can still be expanded through a microSD card slot.
When it comes to display, the Moto G9 Play packs a 6.5-inch LCD display with a dewdrop-notch design that offers HD Plus resolution and has a 20:9 aspect ratio. There’s a small indentation at the top of the screen that is home to one 8 megapixel selfie camera.
At the back, there is a triple-camera setting in a square-shaped camera module consisting of a 48 megapixel main camera accompanied by a 2 megapixel macro lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
Moto G9 Play runs Android 10 OS with a fingerprint sensor placed on the back. Complementing the specifications, there is dual 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi support (2.4GHz + 5GHz), 3.5 mm headset jack.
There’s also a 5,000 mAh battery big enough to keep it on all day and also equipped with 20W TurboPower technology to get power faster via a USB Type-C port.
