Apple reviewed the WatchOS 7 update announced at WWDC. The new Apple Watch Series 6 has new colors and finishes, an always-on display and expanded health measurements, including blood oxygen saturation or Sp02. It incorporates a new A13-based processor that’s customized faster.
Reported by CNET, the design of the new bracelet is in the form of a single elastic circle. Prices were priced at $399 US dollars and shipped Friday (18/9). Apple also added new Family Setup options that don’t need extended parental installation and supervision.
The Apple Watch SE has a larger screen and a more affordable starting price of $279 US dollars). Watch Series 3 remains in the lineup for $199. Fitness Plus is a new watch-centered subscription service that gives users customized workouts for $9.99 per month or $80 per year.
Previously, Apple had held its annual event on Tuesday (15/9). At the company’s virtual event, Tim Cook began introducing the Apple Watch and a new addition to the iPad table in the spotlight.
Apple also confirmed the new iPhone will be available a few weeks later than the mid-September launch. CNET guessed the launch occurred October, around the 13th or 14th.
