Samsung officially announced the latest smartphone which is an affordable version of the Galaxy S20 that has been released first, namely the Galaxy S20 FE. The smartphone, which went on sale on October 2, 2020, has been adapted to the price and presents variants of 4G and 5G technology.
Since rumors emerged, the three phones have become big question marks in terms of installed chipsets. As always, Samsung is reluctant to give the chipset a name, but sees cpu speed. If you look at the speed, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 865 (non-plus) chipset, the same as the original S20 trio, while the Galaxy S20 FE 4G installed the usual Exynos 990.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 SE has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, right between the Galaxy S20 (6.2-inch) and S20 Plus (6.7-inch). With a resolution of 1080p+, the display is HDR10+ certified and runs at 120Hz as well as the S20 and S20 Plus, GSM Arena reported Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
The model is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor that can be used to secure Samsung Pay. The body has also bagged IP68 certification for splash and dust resistance.
Gingseng’s state-of-the-art brand equips the Galaxy S20 FE with three cameras, its main sensor is 12 MP and 1.8 μm pixels with Dual Pixel AF. The module also features Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The second sensor is an 8 MP telephoto (1.0 μm pixels) that offers 3x optical zoom up to 30x Space Zoom. As well as a third ultra-wide 12 MP module that includes a 123-degree field of view.
Because the 64 MP sensors mounted on the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus were removed, the Galaxy S20 FE was unable to record 8K video. Meanwhile, its selfie camera features a 32 MP (0.8 μm pixel) sensor with 4-in-1 pixel binning. The camera appears to be installed in some Samsung A series models.
The Galaxy S20 FE is equipped with 4,500 mAh of battery power, the same capacity as the S20 Plus. It also supports 25W fast charging (USB Power Delivery 3.0 with PPS), but must get separately if you want to take advantage of it as retail packages only include 15W power bricks.
Other features, using AKG-tuned stereo speakers with Dolby audio technology are also available. The phone will also be available in both single SIM and dual SIM versions, because if the microSD card slot is installed then it will have to sacrifice a second SIM, eSIM may also be activated in some markets.
Although color is not present in all countries, it comes in six options cloud red, cloud orange, cloud lavender, cloud mint, cloud navy and cloud white. With 6 GB of RAM, the Galaxy S20 FE 4G costs 633 Euros for 128 GB of memory, while 256 GB of memory is labeled 719 Euros. For the 5G version 128 GB memory cost 730 Euro, and the Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW is priced at 874 Euro.
