Originally, Hyundai provided four petrol engines and two turbodiesels. We don’t discuss everything but are more specific to the machines that are most likely to enter Asia. Both 2.4 MPI (petrol) and more tantalizing, R2.2 turbodiesel.
Both engines are already installed in the Santa Fe which is still marketed by Hyundai Mobil Asia. The Santa Fe 2.4 MPI has a power of 176 PS with 226 Nm of torque.
While the Santa Fe R2.2 has a power of up to 197 PS with torque of 436 Nm. The latter engine successfully passed the performance of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport which had 180 PS and 429 Nm.
The transmission used by the Santa Fe now has an 8-speed automatic displacement, a new AWD (All Wheel Drive) drive system called HTRAC.
This is a new innovation resulting from their development, power and torque can be distributed as needed to each wheel. With HTRAC, wheel traction can be more guaranteed, regardless of terrain.
