Nokia with the Android operating system has proven to be one of the phones that are quite attention-grabbing for the update business. There are already many other Nokia Android series products that never release system updates. Arguably, Nokia under HMD Global is quite diligent in providing operating system updates.
The same goes for the Nokia 7 Plus. Like other Nokia Android devices, this HP carries a pure Android operating system. There’s no customized interface, everything is similar, like a Google-made phone. Moreover, Nokia 7 Plus is one of the mobile phone lines that is included in the Android One project line.
The design of the Nokia 7 Plus is solid because it is carved from 6000 series aluminum blocks. The material is mixed with a coating that tastes like ceramics. In some parts of the body, there is a metal layer that certainly makes this phone quite sturdy and good.
Nokia 7 Plus is equipped with a 3,800 mAh battery. The capacity of this battery is quite decent. GSMArena tested the phone’s battery and produced a battery life value of 87 hours, a talk time of 21 hours 36 minutes, surfing 11 hours 10 minutes, and playing videos for 11 hours 42 minutes. The result is not very impressive but it comes in a pretty good category.
Nokia itself claims that the phone’s battery can last for two days of use. Unfortunately, the claim is not appropriate because based on pocket-lint usage test experience, Nokia 7 battery can only last a full daily range more. These results are obtained if the phone is not used with frequent frequencies.
Nokia 7 Plus is equipped with dual rear cameras, namely a nomrmal camera 12 MP (f/1.75, 1.4 μm) + telephoto camera 12 MP (f/2.6, 1.0 μm). This camera uses Carl Zeiss lenses that are always present on Nokia devices. The results of the Nokia 7 Plus rear camera are quite good.
Nokia 7 Plus rear camera photo quality is quite good. The photos have good detail when compared to other 12 MP cameras. The photo also has a little noise, unfortunately the dynamic range of this phone is not so wide.
Another interesting thing about the Nokia 7 Plus rear camera is the ability to shoot photos with live bokeh. Although the bokeh is less blur, but still quite interesting.
Another interesting feature is the shooting feature with Pro mode as well as the ability to record videos up to 4K which results quite well. It’s just that for mobile video recording, it’s best to choose a resolution of 1080p because it has been equipped with a stabilizer.
